My researchs suggest that the Foreys of Islington originate from:

John Henry Forey (1849-1913) m(1897) Jane Jones (-1918)

Their children were:
John Henry (Jack) (1874-) m Edith Elizabeth Meager (whose descendents include Julie and Krissy who have also posted messages on this forum)

James Frederick (1876-1949) m Catherine Hearn (1876?-1960) (from whom my husband Peter is descended)

Jane (Ginny) (1878-) m(1901) Alfred Adolphus Moxham

Isabella Mary (Bella)(1880-) m(1901) Bob Easton

George William (1882-1954) m(1903) Agnes Victoria Day (1887-1947) (from whom you are descended)

The family are in the 1881 census (RG11/326/65) at 43 New Compton Street, St Giles, John H’s occupation was Ironmonger’s Warehouseman.

Working backwards from John H, were:
John Frederick (1827-1907) m(1849) Isabella Silk (1830?-1893?) (1851 census (HO107/1509/406) at 84 Dudley Street, Copperplate printer)

James (1794-1869) m1(1819) Ann Mann (-1844), m2 (1845) Ann Wade (1851 census (HO107/1475/490) at 30 Grosvenor Mews, 2nd Tenement in Yard , house painter)

Thomas (1760-) m? Frances (1766?-1851) (1841 census (662 Bk5/29) at 29 North Street, Clerkenwell, ind)

And before that, about 7 generations in Surrey back to 1615.
