My ancestor was Salathiel (or slathiel) Pearson Forister, b. 16 june 1835 in N. Carolina or Georgia. Married Mary Bohannon 10 Jan 1861. Children James, John William, Frank, Martha, William, George Washington (my ancestor) Emmanuel, Henry, Zackariah, and Slaithiel Pearson (b. 28 June 1881). Any names overlap with your records?
