I am researching my grandfather Charles Henry (aka Jack) Forister. What I know of him is as follows he was born May 07, abt 1892 in Chonia Missouri his father was Hiram forister and his mother was Nancy Jane (don''t know if Jane was a last name or middle name)he has a brother named Rubin. And he married Lena Mae Frazee of Kentucky,they resided in the St. Louiis area until sometime after WWII and then moved to Florida.He died 24 Feb 1961 in Wauchula Fl. and is buried in Zolfo Springs Florida.
The town of Chonia Missouri was part of a Dam project and is now under water and it appears that all records from that area have been lost.
