William Henry Forrister md. Lillie Porter in 1892

Anyone who recognizes these names, please respond. Lilie was a daughter of Philip Aaron Porter who fought with Hamptons Legion in the Civil War. He was noted for his remarkable bravery.
William's father was probably also named William Forister, but I need more information before I feel comfortable in confirming this.
At the time of this posting (jan 2008) I could offer very little in terms of the history beyond the afore mentioned names, but have found good info on P.A. Porter, and others.

Willing to share what I know.
