Joseph and Elizabeth Forkner were my great granddad Lawrence Forkner brother and sister and they married Nichols sister and brother so there children would be double cousins.Joseph Forkner was in the 3rd Tenn. Cal Volunteers and died of measles during the civil war.Joseph and Mary had a daughter Elizabeth[Betty] b. 1861 and after the war Mary Ann and Elizabeth[Betty] moved to Champaign co.Ill. were Mary married Zephariah Yeats. Elizabeth[Betty] married her Step-brother Rama Yeats and moved to Indianola Nebraska.
Their children were May Blossom Yeats and Allie Belle Yeats.After Rama died Elizabeth[Betty] returned to Ill. and married George Luhrsen. If I can help any more let me know. Merry Christmas cousin Jon Bolton
