Nancy - your greatgrandfather was born on July 28, 1873 in Danzig, Germany (died December 9, 1959 in Detroit, MI). He was named Adalbert, but changed it to Albert on his arrival in the US in 1900.

born October 26, 1871 in Danzig, Germany died June 27, 1954 in Gibralter, MI
eldest son John (who went by the name of Formiller)
born in Danzig, Germany Janury 27, 1895
died July 1965 in Detroit, MI

Theodore Bernard Formella
born in Danzig, Germany August 30/31, 1897(?)
(if you note the date of birth of his eldest brother, the 1893 birth date is obviously not correct. The descrepancy came about while obtaining employment that required citizenship)
died July 5, 1966 in Botsford hospital, Farmington, MI
A daughter
Maria (was a toddler, but do not know age, nor when she died).
