My grandfather was born in 1893 in Sweden and he and his family came over to the US in about 1895. They settled in the Pittsburgh area, I believe. His name was Rynard (I heard he changed it from Ragnar) Frederick Fors. His father was supposedly a Frederick Fors born on 27 April 1867. I have no idea if the name was changed when they came over or not. My grandfather ended up in Buffalo then Dunkirk, NY.
