Hello there
I am from the Edinburgh, Scotland branch of the family. I was born 20/02/49 and am the middle son of Andrew Forson and grandson of Andrew Forson. Currently researching Robert Forson, Miller in Newsteid, Dryburgh 1657-62 and William Forson, Miller in Ridpethe, Dryburgh 1662. Further research at the moment into Fersen, 5th sept of the MacPherson clan. Fersen - the Fersens of Sweden are a noble house whose progenitor was a MacPherson who settled in Sweden during the thirty years war (1618-48). Count Fersen of the above named family was an attache at the Swedish embassy in Paris at the outbreak of the French Revolution.
