Dear Mary
I have a lot of information about Scottish Border Forsons and their descendants in various parts of Scotland. On my tree from William Forson who married Esther Foster I have John Phorson (Forson), b. 19 February 1829 in Dryburgh Mains, the son of David Phorson, mason, and Elizabeth Thomson. They married 25 January 1828 in Merton (Mertoun). I have the dates of birth of his siblings. My information comes from Old Parish Registers at New Register House, Edinburgh, where I live.

I have found a great deal of information tonight, which is very exciting, especially to be able to follow Thomas (born 10 March 1837 (John's brother) to America!
Can I help to answer any questions?
