John Falkner, Hardin Co, TN; father Ezekiel Falkner Folkner??
Hopefully, some or all of the folks who have been working on these Hardin County, Tennessee people will see my post and will email or post here and we will be able to collaborate to get the best record together as can possibly be.

Some questions I need help with: John was b in VA and I would think moved with his father to TN or AL; later he md Catherine Pence in Madison Co, Al, did his father live there, anybody know? I believe his father was Ezekiel Falkner/Forkner. Has anybody searched land recs in Madison Co? Ezekiel Falkner/Forkner was b as reported by him in his American Revolutionary War Pension Papers on 10 Oct 1760 Cumberland Co, North Carolina.
Madison Co, Al is in north central Al, then Elizabeth was reported as having been born in Clark Co, Al. All the other ch except George Wesley were b in Al, specifically Clark Co. What was the draw strong enough to take them to Clark which is down in south west Al? Maybe land? Some kind of homesteading? I don't know, open to suggestions.
Then George Wesley was b 1840 in Hardin Co, TN. This is another long geographical move for the fam, what caused this? Were they wiped out by a hurricane, maybe, I haven't found any schedules of hurricanes for those early days. Was it land? More likely, or was it family? Much more likely? In 1840 Ezekiel would have been 80, did the fam in Hardin Co send word they needed help and Johns family, ready for a change, answered the call for help by moving all the way up to Hardin Co, TN? That is a long move, Hardin Co, TN being north and a tiny bit west of AL. The pull of fam can be very strong. Does anybody know any better than I, please speak up. I need help filling in gaps, especially in Ezekiels fam, I want to know what was going on. What has any body else found in the records?
There is a Dickinson (Dickerson) and a Lewis in those early recs of Hardin Co, TN, how do they play into the Falkner fam? How do we separate them out, or tie them together? Any help any body can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
