Although the 1880 Marion Co., TX census shows the family of W. C. Fortson and wife E.S., and is indexed W.C., I located a marriage record for a W. T. Fortson and Eleanor S. Hall in Caddo Parish, LA on 9 Oct 1875. As of now, it is unknown which is correct, the census record or the marriage record. Eleanor is shown as born in AL on various census records.
