Carol,
I have tried many times myself to get hold of Rod Bush. I have emailed him with no success. I am not a direct descendant of William George Fortson(father of Elijah Satterwhite Forston) but some of my family married into the Forston family and vice versa. My Rogers family was very close to the Fortsons in Arkansas, Panola County and in N. Louisiana in the past. James A Forston(son of Elijah Satterwhite Fortson) was married to my gg grandaunt Leurena Jane Rogers and also to her cousin Sarah D Rogers among others. My grandfather Rogers was named after him(James Fortson Rogers). If there is any info I can give you that may help you, feel free to ask. I don't have a lot of info but I do have some. I also have a copy of a journal written by James A Fortson compiled by my cousin Linda Shaddock Rogers that chronicles the births, deaths, etc of his family and contemporaries in the late 1800's.

Kirk Rogers.
