Dave,

I have copy of John Harper and Mary Ann Fosbrook marriage from the Parish Registers.
Mary Ann's father was Thomas and he was a Tinker, John Harper's father was Joseph and he was a labourer. John and Mary Ann were resident in Dudley Wood and were both single. John signed the marriage cert. and Mary Ann made her mark. Witnesses were Joseph and Ann Cox, who both made their mark. Ernest Whitehouse, curate of Netherton was the minister. John was 19 years and Mary Ann 18 years. John's occupation was chainmaker.Unfortunately I do not know anything else of the family. You would be better looking for them on the 1851 Census as this will give place of birth. Whereas the 1841 Census will only give whether born in county or not. Hope this helps. Let me know hos you get on. Helen Fosbrook
