As I have spent more time looking at the Foscue Family Record I have I realize that Eliza Ann Foscue, b. 1829 in FL, was 82 when she compiled it in 1911. She had been in Utah by 1850 and much of her early information must have come from the records in Salt Lake City. I have found that many of these records are not accurate - as many are submitted by patrons who did not have access to the information we now have. I now know that it is not first hand knowledge.

Example: Another entry for Sarah Foscue born 12 Aug 1812 says that she married Thomas H Smith.

I did see that in 1850 William Grenade's wife was Nancy, age 60.
