Your Foster given names intrigue me. The female name America was once used in my family, possibly as a sign of patriotism as they were newcomers to the States circa 1790. There is a Henry Foster in my database who was born in Clay Co., Missouri, but who had moved on by the time of the 1870 census, possibly to points west. Iowa would fit. Do you have an approximate age/birthplace for your people?
