Hi David,

I just read your post and can give you
more detail on Michael Alonzo's decendants. He is my
great-great-grandfather and from what I have found had 4 children,
Alonzo Bengham (my greatGF), Alfred Claude, Lillian, and Isabella.
Alonzo married Catherine (Kate) Elizabeth (Lily) Bailey, and they had
13 children. Quite a number of thes children died, some probably very
young, and some in the great war including my great uncle William
Alfred Fothergill. I haven't managed to track all of them down, but
know of about 12 of them. They were all born around Millwall or
Greenwich, London, except for the last child, Lloyd George Fothergill
(my grandfather), who was born after they moved to Rugby,
Warwickshire. He married Dorothy Mary Crawley from Rugby, and they
had two children, Christopher Lloyd Frederick Fothergill (my father),
and Leona Fothergill. Leona and is still in Rugby, but had two boys,
Newman and Russel (Holt), that are elsewhere in the UK. I have one
sister, Selina, and we were both born in Rugby, before my family
emmigrated to Australia. We currently live in Brisbane, Queensland.
Hope this helps! I can give you more detail or send through a tree if
you'd like! It would be great to hear about what you've managed to
track down on your side!

Tom. (Thomas Fothergill)
