Good morning. Tell me what confuses you in Lourene Criddle's research. Our basic questions
still remain how to tie the 1635 Hugh Fouche who then died in Cecil County, MD to the later
Hugh Fouche who was born 1698. There is a generation or two missing. Yes, in the 19th century
as folks left Loudoun County, Virginia, there was a pattern of returning the corpse for burial in
the ancestral cemetery. This is a very French custom. Take care now. Best wishes, Roger
