Thanks Myra,

I'm not sure if this is my John or not. Do you have any info on him as far as birth, death, marriage, children, parents, etc.? I have 2 Johns that I am trying to follow up one. The first one b. 1730 in Louden Co. VA, Married Susanah Mobley, d. 1771. The second John Married Catharina Specht on May 28, 1787 at the Evangelical Lutherine Church in Fredrick Co. MD. Catharine was born March 4, 1757 in MD, baptised at New Hanover township Lutheran Church in PA, and died in Holmes Co Ohio on May 4, 1853. Catherines father was Johan Conrad Specht, He may have been a Miller by trade in Hagerstown MD. Her brothers were Conrad, George Ludwig (Lewis) and Franz Heinrich. Do either of these John's sound like the one in your bible?

Thanks for your help,
Robin Fouche'
