Anne: To answer your question, I have a copy of a document sent to me years ago by Mark Foutch, of Olympia, WA. I think he found it in Anapolis. It was a petition of Thomas Torrey saying he had been willed 50 acres by Hugh Fouch, Jr., who had inherited it from his father, Hugh Fouch, Sr. He (Torrey) believed it was more than 50 acres, and he asked for permission to resurvey it and claim it all. I confess it is hard for me to understand it. If you would like a copy, send me your address and I will mail it. Or if you have a FAX,I can use that. However, a FAX copy will be almost unreadable.
