Hi All

I'm interested in tracing the Fouché lineage as well and would appreciate any help in this regard. I know the first Fouche was called Phillipe, more information about him could be found on the Huguenot society of SA website www.hugenoot.za.org. I am from the Fouchés in the South Freestate. My father was Pieter Johannes Fouché and my grandfather was Adriaan Stephanus Fouché.

In particular I am trying to trace the lineage of the closest family from my grandfather and would like to hear from anyone having any information in this regard. I know JJ Fouche or Jim Fouche were the third state president of SA after Jozua Francois Naudé from 1968 to 1975 and that my grandfather and Pres Fouché's father were nephews.

Kind Regards and best of 2004
Christine Fouché
