mr. Williams,
I believe Isaac Fouche's Father was Hugh
Fouche. I'm pretty sure I have proof of that in my notes somewhere; also, None of the
brothers who came to Washington, Ga. are buried either in Wilkes or any of the surrounding counties. I have evidence that
whenever one of them died a brother or someone else in the family made a trip back
to Virginia and was usually paid 500.00 for
their expenses. Also believe that Isaac left
provisions either in his will or in deed on some land that he sold for any fouche who wished to be buried in Va.on a plot of ground that he set aside for this purpose.Do you
suppose they carried them all back to louden
County to bury them?
Myra Maxwell
