You will need to do more research on this point. Also, check your typing. You say a man was
born in 1983 and died in 1969. It is possible that the surname Fulcher is a back formation in
the 13th century or so. At one point Fouche' was used in Latin as Fulcherius, circa the 12th
century. In France the surname was spelt three different ways, Fouche' , Foucher, and Fouchet.
