I have in my husband's tree

Andrew Fought who married a Mary or Marie Levenway or Lavanway at Fort Wayne, Allen county, Indiana in 1851. They had 3 children in Indiana.

They moved to Livingston County, Illinois for later census, had more children and the last census for them being in 1900 where Andrew stated that he was born Mar 1828 Penn or Germany ( different census) and Mary Lavanway born abt 1833 Vernont but of French Descent. I don't know who their ancestors are. Andrew Fought was a blacksmith with German parents ( from census info).

Could Mary Lavanway (born Vermont) be a daughter of Silas or Charles? Lavanway who settled early (1836) in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.
