Did Barbara Foulk (b. 1769 and the daughter of Jacob and Margaret Foulk) marry Charles Snodgrass, Sr. in Monongalia Co., VA/WV in about 1796? After Charles Snodgrass, Sr. died in 1808, his widow moved to Washington Co., OH and married a Nathan Matheny in 1824.

I do know that Jacob and Margaret Foulk's daughter, Sarah, married Charles Snodgrass, Jr. (the son of Charles, Sr. and his first wife) in Monongalia Co, VA/WV in 1806. Charles, Jr. worked in the pottery of Jacob Foulk as an indentured servant in 1803.

Do you know anything more about Jacob, Margaret, Barbara or Sarah Foulk/Foulke?

Are you aware of the book by Sunshine Foulke Chambers (located in the DAR Library in Washington, DC) titled "Allied Families: Descendants of Andreas Volck - Foulke and Mathias Lupfer." Sunshine was a PA Foulke and wrote the book in her family's summer home at Chautauqua Lake, NY.

Various spellings: Folk, Folks, Foulk, Foulke, Foulkes, Foulks, Fulk, Fulks, Volk, Volck
