Please let me start again. In the 1850 census for Columbiana County, Ohio (West Township page following page 388) John Foulks is listed with his wife Mary Slentz (widow of Daniel Hassler both were from Chester County, Pennsylvania)and the following individuals: Mary Foulks age 20; Lafayette Foulks age 17; William Foulks age 15; Milton Foulks age 11; John Foulks (please note not listed as junior in the census) age 9; Shamron Foulks (M) age 7; Calvin Foulks age 5; Minerva Foulks age 15. NOTE: ALL children except for Minerva were attending school even Calvin. John married Mary after 1830 since she and Daniel are in the 1830 census in Pennsylvania.
John age 9 (born about 1840-1841) will end up marrying Elizabeth Jones born 27 August 1841 to Joseph Mace Jones and Ann (Robinson)Jones in Columbiana County Pennsylvania. John (b. 1840-41) and Elizabeth are married on 15 September 1864 Columbiana County, Ohio. Joseph and his wife are in the West township, Columbiana County, Ohio 1850 census on page 389 and the page that follows it. Listed are 7 of their 10 children. Elizabeth's sister Margaretta will marry John's (b. 1840-1841)brother, Calvin (who is born 15 April 1845) in 1864 also.
