I began searching the lineage and found a James Madison Foshee son of David Jefferson Foshee and Mary Lucinda Barrow with other children: William Jefferson Foshee, John Gray Foshee, David Julien Foshee, Mary Rose Foshee, George Wasington Foshee. Knowing my grandfather was James Madison Foshee, assumed that was my grandfather. With further investigation; found that my Grandfather's Dad was William Emmett Foshee 1853 - 1917 and Mary L. Shepperd Foshee 1855 - 1929, and was born in Gladewater Texas. So confusing, yet so interesting! Other names from that lineage are their children; Mimmie Florence, James Madison (my grandfather 1884 - 1946), Johnnie Virginia (a name I recognize), Albert Martin, Edgar Leon, Azor Beryl, Mary Elizabeth, and Alfred Franklin all Foshee's born in Gladewater, Tx. Supposing My grandfather moved back to Alabama after parents passed, Munford, Talladega Co. is where my grandmother Mamie Camp is from. If you info on these Foshee's, please let me know. I'll still be searching!
BTW: Do you have any info on Col. Roger Foushee? Noticed he hasn't been on this site since 3/19/07. Hope he is still alive and well! Thanks! Rhonda
