Hello,

Thanks so much for the information on Temple. In the Stafford militia records Temple's last name is spelled Fouche, though I note in the material you sent the name was spelled Fouch. The clerks who kept the militia records were often extremely creative in their spelling, but with the similarity between Fouche and Foushee, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a relationship--both sound French to me.
