I am desperately trying to find the family of:
Amelia L. Foust mother to:
Nancy Elizabeth Jones
John D. Foust
Erastus Foust
James Pinkney Foust
Mollie A. J. Foust
These children were born in Alabama in the 1860-1870's
My main inquiry is to find out who Amelia L. ? Jones Foust is. The info I have on her is: Amelia L. ? born February 22, 1834 in South Carolina. She had Nancy Elizabeth Jones on December 13, 1861 in Alabama and then had the Foust children starting in about 1865-1867 in Alabama. They show up in the 1880 Grayson Co. Texas census, she is widowed. Amelia L. ? Jones Foust died July 27, 1898 and is buried at Earl(e) Cemetery in Johnston Co. OK.
I am a direct decendant of Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jones
and I have spent the better part of two years trying to find out Amelia's(Nancy's Mom) maiden name along with N. E. Jones birth father and all the information that goes with, he was suppose to have been born in S. C. also.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated in helping me find out about N. E. Jones' parents.
