John fouch of Allentown, Pennsylvania met and married Experience Freeman of New Jersey. John and Experience had twin sons that died in infancy. Other children born in Pennsylvania were...Jacob, Lewis, Ellie, and Absalom. John came to Ohio and bought a farm in Highland County and sent for his wife and family to join him. He wrote to them there was a log cabin and spring of water on the farm. Ellie the married daughter drove one covered wagon and Experience drove the other. Absalom was six years old. The son-in-law and the oldest son drove the livestock and walked. In Ohio John and Experience had four more children they were... Hannah, Betsy, Sarah, and Julia. John died in his fifties, Experience lived on the farm until her death at the age of 93. Their little town was called Allenburg.
Absalom is my great-great grandfather. Absalom's son Nathan Perry Fouch is my great grandfather. Russell Absalom Fouch is my grandfather. Frank Daryl Fouch my late father. I have more information if you are interested. This is my son's e-mail address.
