Hi B. Foutch, would love to exchange info with you. I have the name of Thomas Elmer Foutchs' wife as Lizzie. Don't have anything else for her except she was born about 1880 in Arkansas. Their children were Jackson b abt 1908; Goldie b abt 1910 married Henry Mathews; Albert b abt 1912; Grace b abt 1914; Omie b abt Jun 1916; and Plumie b abt Jan 1919; all children born in Arkansas. I have the birthdate for Thomas Elmer Foutch as 14 Feb 1886, this from the 1900 Census records when he was 14 years old. I know the census records are not always correct as to year of birth.
Allen Lemuel Foutch was a younger brother to my ggrandfather Jason Lucas Foutch. I do not know the names of the brothers and sisters of Allen Philip Foutch or his parents. I was told by another cousin that he remembered his grandfather John Lucas Foutch speaking of visiting with his uncles (probably g uncles-brothers of Allen Philip Foutch) I have the names recorded but cannot find them at this time. We have Mary Jane Lucas Burgess Foutch as name of wife of Allen Philip Foutch. This would seem to be correct as their first child (my g grandfather) was names Jason Lucas Foutch and he named one of his sons John Lucas Foutch. The practice of carrying on the wifes maiden name as middle name of children was very common.
Waiting to hear from you, Barbara Foutch Turner
