Kristin,

Just wanted to drop a line to straighten out the parentage of the John William Foutch b. 16 Nov 1875 in Rome Twp., Jefferson, Illinois; md. 22 Nov 1899 in Jefferson Co., IL to Margaret Elizabeth TROUTT; and he died 16 November 1929 in Oneonta, Otsego, NY; buried in Plains Cemetery there. His father was Elijah Marion FOUTCH, b. 18 Oct 1851 DeKalb Co., TN, d. 23 Feb 1913 Mt. Vernon, Jefferson, IL. His mother was Isabella RILEY b. 20 Mar 1853 in Vermont, died 1 Jan 1935 in Jefferson Co., IL. Elijah and Isabella were married on 2 Feb 1873 in Jefferson Co., IL. Both Elijah Marion and Isabella are buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jefferson Co., IL.

William D. Foutch and his wife Lavina CREECH were Elijah Marion's parents. I have more information if you need it. Also, all information is well documented if you want to double check any of the data.

John William was the second child of thirteen born to Elijah and Isabella.

Good luck with your searching,
Sandi
