Peggy: No I do not descend from any Tennessee Foutches, although I believe you may be a cousin. For awhile I edited a family newsletter, so I have been to Tennessee several times to research to get information for the newsletter. I have also been to the nation's capital to the National Archives, and collected all of the Civil War applications I could find, as well as the Rev. War and the War of 1812. I have Jason's CW pension application as well as that of his brother, william.
