I am not researching these people, just have mention of them on a sheet I copied from a Lewis Genealogy:
"Records of Edward Lewis (poss. relation of John Lewis, Jr.), 1673: Edward Lewis wit. deed of gift of Martha Foxhall, wife and atty of John Foxhall of Popes Cr. in Patomeck Riv., Merchant, to dau Mary Foxhall: one small black stone horse...Wit. by Robert Vaux & Edward Lewse (Sic.). (In: Dorman, Westmoreland Co. VA. Deeds etc. 1665-1677, pt. 2, p. 59.)
(Edward Lewis is possibly one of my ancestors.)
