Diane:

I now know where the location of Foxworthy, Devon. It is also on the boundry of the Dartmoor National Park. Thank you. The picture with the article shows the country side of Branscombe, Devon. Rolling country. There is also a picture of some ponies from the Dartmoor National Park.

What I have is some old legal documents concerning some of the Foxworthy's. First one is dated 1705 for a Catherine Foxworthy, Burrough of Truro, County of Cornwall. She is the widow and relict of Francis Foxworthy and the value of the inventory of his estate which was 43 pounds, 9 shillings, 4 pence. The second, dated 1710, was a Last Will and Testiment for Honnor Foxworthy who is the widow and relict of Thomas Foxworthy, Burrough of Truno, County of Cornwall. She lists Grandson -Thomas Foxworthy, Granddaughter - Mary Foxworthy, Sister - Anne Whiddon, a Sister-in-law - Ane Ennys, her servent - Francis Hodge and servent maids Joane Welch and Joane Beard. Her Daughter, Rebekah Foxworthy was the Executor.
and third was a John Foxworthy who was heir Executor for Samuel Foxworthy, late of Minhinniott, dated 1744, for goods and chattels and credit. He also had a Last Will and Testiment dated 1775 as John Foxworthy, Parish of Minhenit, County of Cornwall Yeoman. He listed cousin Joan Avery, cousin Matthew Avery, Mary Edgecombe the wife of John, a John Geach, Thomasin Pyne the wife of John, a cousin John Pearse and maid Rebecca Pearse, his apprentice Denzil Pyne and John Avery was the Executor.

I guess the other stuff I have is the I.G.I. list of marriages and births of the Foxworthy's. I know there are 4 pages of Foxworthy's and gives birth, death, and marriages and who some of the spouses are. You probably have all of that as you said.

I would like to send you a floppy disk with a GED type file of the Foxworthy's of my lineage. Have noted a Nicholas and Mary Jordan about 1752 and a Sarah who married a Daniel Green of about 1750. Also see a posting on this message board about the Daniel Green and Sarah. Have not made any research on these as they have just recently appeared so will have to do some investigation after the Census 2000 is done as I am a warehouse clerk. Have found an ancestory on my Mother's side that did the Census back in 1850, in Buffalo Valley, Union Co., Pennsylvania.

Guess I better close here.
