Dear Graeme,
Thanks for your interest. My great grandfather Thomas Foxworthy,born in Devon, must have been a seafarer of some sort as he arrived in Swansea, South Wales from the West Country and married a local girl. He went back to Devon to work in engineering and then went to Motherwell to manage a steelworks. He eventually came back to Swansea to live until he died. I don't think that he left any family up in Scotland. In Devon where the Foxworthys'originated,it was a seafaring place with Plymouth so close by.Can you
make any connections with Devon from your side of the family?
