Shauna: Have had this information just sent to me. From a source about "Making of America Books" was a section on Sangamon County, Illinois and had the following information; BELL, BAILEY, was born Nov. 2, 1776, in Fauquier Co., Va., and was there married to Nancy Foxworthy, who was born April 3, 1785. They had three Children, and moved to Clarke Co., Ky., in 1818, where two children were born, and thence to Sangamon Co., Ill., arriving in Nov., 1834, at Buffalo Hart Grove. Mrs Nancy Bell died August 6, 1843 in Logan Co., and Baily Bell died Feb 6, 1846 in Sangamon Co., at Buffalo Hart Grove. Of their five children ---- BAILEY F., born Dec 30, 1807 in Fauquier Co., Va., was married in Clarke Co., Ky Nov 27, 1827, to Mahala Burns. They had one child in Ky, and the family moved to Sangamon co., Ill arriving in the fall of 1831, in Buffalo Hart Grove, where they had six children and reside near Knoxville, Marion co., Iowa. ARIE, born Oct 11, 1811, in Fauquier Co., Va., was married in Clarke Co., Ky., Sept 1834, to Thomas McGowan. They had five children, and reside near Buffalo Hart station. JAMES, born Sept 13, 1814 in Va, was married in Logan Co., Ill., to Nancy Brown. they have seven children and reside in Rosemont, Jasper Co., Iowa. BENJAMIN, born May 16, 1818 in Clarke Co., Ky, was married in Sangamon Co., Sept 26, 1840 to Amanda Starr. They had six children. Mary E, born April 9, 1843, married Hugh McGorey, and died Oct 14, 1865. Emily, born Dec 7, 1845, died Sept 11, 1862. Thomas J., born Sept 28, 1848, died in his third year. William, born Nov 29, 1851, Benjamin, Jun., born Nov 29, 1856, and Florence, born August 20, 1860, reside with their parents in Logan Co., three miles east of Buffalo Hart Station. THOMAS F, born June 18, 1821, in Clarke Co., Ky., was married in Ill., to Ann Allen. They have six children, Charles, Albert, Clara, Emma, Arthur who died in his tenth year, and Leslie.
