I too, am looking for info on the Foye's. I am related to the Foye name via my maternal great-grandmother who was Mary Jane Edwards Henry 1853-1923. She is buried at Bryn Zion Cemetery near Mt. Gilead, Ohio (my hometown). There are many Foye's buried here-many in a beautiful mausoleum. I have a copy of "Cabineers" written by John D. Foye of Lima, Ohio in 1903. It is a history of the school district #8 in Morrow County, Ohio. Evidently the William Foye you are looking for was the son of William and Jane Miller Foye whop arrived at the site of The Pines in autumn 1841 having traveled there in two wagons from Northumberland County, PA. On my last visit to Ohio my mother drove me by The Pines @ 4709 County Road 111, Mt. Gilead. It is in sad shape now, but mother said it was a local showplace when the Foye's were in residence. I hope someone out there knows who it was that married into the Edwards family, so I can know how I fit into the Foye family. Unfortunately, my mother, Mary Kathryn Pearson Wolfinger, doesn't remember. I also have a copy of the will and obituary of George K. Foye. I hope to hear from you soon so we can share what we each know. John Wolfinger, Atlanta, Georgia
