Dear Gaynor,

I have only a few details about your query:
William Thomas b. Sept.Qtr. 1838 @ Blandford,
married Emma Churchill 1863 @ Blandford.

There were a couple of Foyle families in Blandford at the same time apparently. Eneas and Elizabeth (nee Bellinger)account for most of the children born in the same time frame as your interests.

My research is focussed around Heytesbury and Chitterne in Wiltshire where my family lived. I have traced my family back to Tilshead in 1815 but cannot find either party (John Foyle/Charlotte Frankham)to that marriage prior to that date although I know that John was born in 1796. It is suspected that all the Foyles are related and may originate from around Iwerne Courtney in Dorset. My correspondence with several researchers leads me to believe that each branch is independant and it is impossible, at this time, to link them despite many similarities.

Roger Foyle
