Re: Foyle of Blandford St. Mary

My great grandfather was Francis Edmund (Frank) Foyle, born 28th April 1864 at East Street, Blandford, Dorset. His parents were William Foyle and Emma Churchill (Hooper) Foyle. I see Gaynor Beck posted a query on this family in 2000. She is a descendent of Agnes, Franks sister, and evidently she was correct that there was an older sibling (posted 16/05/00).
Frank Foyle was a soldier in the Dorset Regiment, who came to Ireland sometime before 1900. In 1901 he married Margaret McDonnell (O' Donnell) of Antrim in Belfast. The family settled there and had at least one child, my grandfather Francis Lamont Foyle born in 1903. This branch of the Blandford- Foyles, (Frank's descendents), are still living in Ireland.
I was not aware that my g. grandfather had brothers or sisters. Anymore information on this family would be greatly appreciated. In particular I would be delighted to hear from Gaynor Beck if shes out there.
