George W. is listed in the 1860 census as the son of Joseph and Anna. The census reads Joseph age 38, Anna age 36, George age 10, Mary age 8, Sara age 6, and Osburn age 3.
Joseph is listed in the 1840 cenus on page 325---Rutherford County NC. as unmarried--- Joseph age 20/30. I also believe I found him the the 1850 census. Only two other Fradys were living in Rutherford County NC. in the 1840 census. John Frady the son of Cahrles and George Washington Frady also the son of Charles. No children are missing from the George Washington Frady family in the 1840 using the 1830 census as a basis. John Frady family shows a missing males the age of Joseph missing in 1840 using the 1830 census as a basis--with that consideration Joseph most likely is the son of John.
Hope this helps
