Looking for information for Arber Frady listed in the 1880 Laurens Co. SC. census as Arber Frady age 23 b. NC, father b. NC, mother b. NC., Widowed, living as servant with William Hunter age 28 and family. Living near by is George Frady age 4 b. SC. and Mary age 2 b. SC listed as grandson and grandaughter of the John Miller family. These two children most likely are the children of Arber Frady. I looked at the actual census and his name Arber Frady.
The John Miller family is listed as: John Miller age 53 b. SC., Barbey age 57 b. SC, Gena age 14, b. SC.. This George age 4 in 1880 is most likely the George H. listed in later Laurens County census who married Liddie Woodfruff abt 1899/1900. George H. and Liddie had the following children, Furman? b. abt. 1903, Ida b. abt 1906, Yates b. abt 1912, Edna b. abt 1920. There may be more children after the 1920 census.
Who are the parents of this Arber Frady. There are not many male children b. abt 1857 listed in the 1860, 1870 NC census--one that stands out is Joel Osburn Frady b. abt. 1857 son of Joseph and Anna Coxey Frady. Could Arber be a nick name?
