John D. Frailey, b. 1790 Reading, Berks Co., PA, and died 1879 Jackson Twp, Monroe Co., Pa, is the son of Peter Frailey and Mary Magdalena Drinkhaus - both buried in St. John's Reformed Cemetery, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill Co., PA. John Frailey's War of 1812 military service records establish that in 1814 at commencement of service his place of residence was Orwigsburg, PA. His Pension records confirm his military service records as Sept. 14, 1814 - Dec. 4, 1814, a Sgt. under Capt. Jacob Marshall's Co. of Inf., 1st Regiment PA Militia. I am descended from his brother Jacob Frailey (1786-1860) who settled in Lancaster, PA in the early 1800's.

John Frailey's wife was Eve Kresge, m. May 1819, Chestnut Hill, Northhampton Co. (later Monore Co.), Pa, re War of 1812 Pension records. His children were: Maria (Snyder), Hannah (Dorshimer), Peter Frailey, Elizabeth (Arnold), Philip Frailey, Emeline (Osterhoudt), Matilda (Osterhoudt), Sally (Green), Susannah (Osterhoudt). Many of these names/descendants are still present in Monroe Co., PA, today.
