In my family it started out Frazer and in the early 1800's those who stayed in the same place changed it to
Frazier and those who headed west kept Frazer - so who can tell? A lot of people were illiterate and others spelled it the way it sounded to them. I have one will where it is spelled 4 different ways in the one document. Liz
