Susan..Do you have census records saying Austin Bush was Cherokee? and..or do you have census records saying Mary Bush Turner was Cherokee? Do you know the story about Mary Bush Turner and her sister, Ann Bush Neece being captured by Indians? Annie was tomahawked and scalped in another raid but survived.
I am having a difficult time figuring who was Cherokee and was not.
