Would greatly appreciate additional information on these family members...

1. Allen1 Tew was born January 05, 1818 in Sampson County, North Carolina, and died January 23, 1903 in Brundige, Alabama. He married Sarah "Sally" Benton, daughter of Samuel Benton and Sarah (Unknown).


Children of Allen Tew and Sarah Benton are:

+ 2 i. Sarah Zadie2 Tew, born April 22, 1858 in Pike County, Alabama; died June 27, 1920 in Dale County, Alabama.

3 ii. Drucilla Tew, born November 1842. She married Willis Bass December 23, 1857 in Barbour County, Alabama; born 1836 in Georgia; died 1883 in Alabama.

4 iii. Cintilla Tew, born June 05, 1844; died March 03, 1925 in Barbour Co., AL.. She married Hezekiah Tew February 05, 1861 in Barbour County, Alabama.

5 iv. Peter Francis Tew, born February 14, 1846 in Alabama; died September 19, 1910. He married Caroline Salona "Callie" Long February 11, 1868 in Blue Springs, Barbour County Alabama.

6 v. James Allen Tew, born November 16, 1847 in Barbour Co, AL. He married P. Jane Lister January 12, 1871 in Barbour County, Alabama.

7 vi. Isaac J. Tew, born April 1850. He married Hester Ann Lester November 24, 1870 in Barbour County, Alabama.

8 vii. Levi H. Tew, born February 14, 1852 in Alabama; died April 21, 1932 in Pike Co, AL.. He married Nancy A. Woodham.

9 viii. Leroy Tew, born November 21, 1853 in Alabama; died April 21, 1937 in Pike County, Alabama. He married Hettie Jane Bryant December 12, 1878 in Pike County, Alabama.

10 ix. Daniel M. Tew, born July 22, 1860 in Pike County, Alabama; died December 14, 1927 in Pike County, Alabama. He married Anna E. Mulkey Abt. 1883 in Pike County, Alabama.

11 x. Hezekiah J. Tew, born February 26, 1862 in Pike County, Alabama; died February 25, 1938 in Pike County, Alabama. He married Nettie Mae Ferguson June 03, 1894 in Pike County, Alabama.
