JAMES & GEORGE FRAMPTON, London, late 1800s
Posted by: Charles Lauder, Jr (ID *****9694) Date: January 25, 2006 at 03:24:17

James FRAMPTON (b. 1835, Hackney, UK) was a carver who lived in Chelsea in 1871.

He may have been married more than once. At the time, his wife's name was Louisa.

Their children were Henry C., Theriza, George J., Helen A., Jane C., and Alice M.A.

Geroge J. FRAMPTON is quite possibly the famous sculptor who created the Peter Pan statue in Kensignton Gardens. He's listed as being 10 yr old in the 1871 Census.

Jane C. FRAMPTON (b. 1865) later married James Edward UNDERWOOD and had children Theresa Ann & Ada Lucy UNDERWOOD.

If anyone has information on this FRAMPTON family, please contact me.
