On the 1871 Census James is married to Louisa and 6 children live with them. If this is the same James Frampton, I wonder what his wife died of...or maybe they divorced. It's interesting that none of these 6 children are with him in 1881. He seems to have remarried very quickly. Does the marriage record to Sarah Ann list his age?

Do you know whether the son George is the well-known sculptor Sir George Frampton? I'm trying to find out the parents' names of Sir George and prove a family connection.

If true, it would prove very interesting that James Frampton had a sculptor son & step-son.
