Hi,Cousin Mary, yes, I'm back again, but my French/Spanish cousins, descendents of southwest pioneers kept me researching. I did find that Elizabeth Potter and Wm.Frampton had to have written recommendations from her family and friends to be married in Newport. 'Fortunately, she was of good repute". Also,Wm.Frampton sold his New York city house when he moved to Pennsylvania, and it was a block from current Wall Street. Think of that property value! Most interesting news was that my husband's Cape Cod ancestors were visitors or tradesmen with Newport firms, and might possibly have done business with the Quaker families there, maybe the Potters.
