Jean Marot , Huguenot, of Williamsburg VA

Can anyone give a documented date and place for the birthplace of Jean Marot of Williamsburg VA? He is well documented after his arrival in VA, and I have found a record in the Huguenot records in London but nothing about parentage. A birthdate/christening date in France has been posted on the Internet, but I have not been able to document this. While in Salt Lake City, I tried to find films in the area where he was supposed to have been born, but there are no records other than Catholic. If he was truly of the family of the famous Huguenot writer, Clement Marot, his family should have a long history of Protestanism, and it seems unlikely that he would have been baptized in Catholic records, unless it was politically necessary. Any help appreciated.
