Thanks for posting. The Ringo Family History, published in 1984 in 13 volumes. Volume I is on the history of the Ringo family in Europe starting in 988, in Ghent Belgium. There are 70 different spellings of the Ringo name, depending on the scrib or language. Interesting to note mention of the Prince of Orange. in 1100 the Prince of Orange made Ringo the Calvo (The Bald) the Lord of Dendemmonde, now a town east of Ghent, but a country at that time. The Ringo family were Lords of Dendermone for 2 hundred years. Ringo the Calvo was reqarded for his military service during the 1st Crusade in 1073.
